MSR Superfuel
You wouldn't put cheap, generic gasoline in a fine Italian
sports car, so why not give your liquid fuel stove the same
consideration. Superfuel is a premium grade of naptha ("white gas")
that is designed to burn cleaner, improving performance while
reducing the development of sooty carbon deposits that can
discolour cookware and clog your stove's jet. Che bella! |

GSI Kitchen Set
The days of searching for a lost cooking utensil in the nether
regions of your food bag are over; this handy unit keeps
everything clean and ready to use. It comes complete with
just about everything you'll need to cook gourmet meals in
the great outdoors. Throw in some herbs, spices and a decent
chef's knife (only Philistines use a multi-tool to chop veggies)
and you're good to go! |
|
GSI Fairshare Mug
If there's any drawback to group expeditions (apart
from the guy who snores like a walrus all night long) it's
the fact that someone usually gets shortchanged when the food
gets dished out. With the Fairshare
Mug, however, you can guarantee that it won't be you! The mug
holds an impressive 32 ounces, can be used as either a mug or
a bowl, and includes a handy screw-on cover to keep food piping
hot. |
|
GSI Outdoors Pepper Mill
You've tended the stove like a mother hen, carefully nurturing
your outdoors gourmet extravaganza, while all
around you a horde of hungry campers waits with mouth-watering
anticipation. Finally it reaches the peak of simmering perfection, the
point at which all the individual ingredients have contributed their
utmost, yielding an exquisite melange of nuanced flavours. It
lacks just one final savoury element, one last crowning touch...
so you rip open a paper pepper package and shower
your culinary creation with the mysterious grey dust therein.
Mais non!! Zat
would be sacrilege! Instead, with a showman's flourish
you produce (as if from thin air!) the compact and lightweight
GSI Pepper Mill, and with the most Parisian of charm enquire,
"Some
freshly ground exotic peppercorns, yes?!" It is of course more
of a command than a question, and as your guests meekly nod
their heads and then take their first bites they become like
sweet butter in your hands, so overwhelmed are they by
your gastronomic mastery. Bon Appetit!! |

and so on. NEW - Check out the Collander and Cutting Board set. |

to accompany you on all your mealtime adventures. Made of
lightweight polycarbonate, it's heat resistant and won't harm
the surface of your non-stick cookware. |
|
LMF Grandpa's FireFork
Everyone loves to roast marshmallows and weiners over the
campfire, but nobody likes the environmental damage that
results from having to cut green roasting sticks from living
trees. This clever device is the answer - it quickly attaches
to just about any old stick and will allow you to cook all
kinds of goodies. It even comes with a colourful cover for safe
storage too. S'mores, anyone? |
|
LMF FireSteel
Like the old camp song says, "It only takes a spark to
get a fire going...", and this handy little device will
develop a sizzling burst of sparks even when wet. It's perfect
for lighting liquid fuel and canister stoves in windy and
cold conditions that would challenge matches and lighters,
and when used with a supply of dry tinder is great for lighting
a toasty campfire. OK, so who's up for a rousing round
of "Kumbaya"? |

MSR Dragonfly Liquid Fuel Stove The DragonFly is a stove that's won design accolades in both the North American and European outdoor industries and stands alone for many reasons. One of the most noteworthy is the innovative CoolFuel Valve, which yields an adjustable flame that goes from birthday candle to blowtorch with a simple turn of the knob. MSR designers infused this stove with simple and straightforward features like super-stable pot supports, a self-cleaning Shaker Jet and field maintainability as well as a design that folds compactly into itself. MSR PocketRocket Canister Stove
Looking for an outstanding stove for your fast & light trips?
Look no further than the PocketRocket! This tiny, ultralight stove is
all you really need for three season cooking. Powered by readily
available LPG fuel canisters (sold seperately), this little blowtorch can boil a litre
of water in under four minutes. Soup's on!
SUNTRAIL Advisory - If you use a windscreen with the PocketRocket, make sure that it's placed ONLY on the windward side and NEVER completely around the stove -- that way you'll prevent the canister from overheating and possibly overpressurizing. |

MSR Fuel Bottles
Make sure you supply your new MSR stove with one or more
genuine MSR Fuel Bottles. MSR fuel bottles are made from a
single piece of impact-extruded aluminum to prevent
leaks and cracks, have
thicker walls at the base and shoulders to resist
bulging when pressurized, and the Canadian version now comes
with a child-resistant cap for greater safety. Choose from
three convenient sizes, and mix them up to provide yourself
with multiple fuel supply options.

SUNTRAIL Tip - How much fuel should you take on your adventure? Plan on using
about 4 fluid ounces of fuel per person per day for warm weather cooking
and cleanup, increasing to 8 ounces if you have to melt snow for water
in winter, and up to 16 ounces in alpine and arctic conditions.
